HDPE sunshade have a UV value of 10 and are certified according to the UV-801 standard. This means that it blocks 90% of the sun’s rays.
Rain and Wind
Larger amounts of water will pass through the shade. However, dew or light rain will be directed off the sail when mounted with a slight decline. The sunshade should be taken down in wind strengths over 7 on the Beaufort wind scale, which corresponds to a strong breeze with 13.9-17.1 m/s or 50-61 km/h.
